I'm like a lot of other people out there, I love Pugs. What a fantastic breed, fun personality and great little bodies. I have a hard time passing up a good looking little dog and not taking its picture. And when I saw this little Pug at Douglas Preserve here in Santa Barbara, I was glad I had my camera. I snapped this picture of him and painted his portrait as an example of my work. I love the green background along with the playful shadow cast by this handsome Pug. This Pug's portrait is on an 24" vertical canvas by 18" and really holds a dog well.
